We’re proud to introduce the Southern Hemisphere’s first Arc’teryx Alpha Store, opening in the heart of Sydney CBD within the iconic Queen Victoria Building (QVB).

Spanning across three levels, this flagship destination represents a new pinnacle retail experience. Bringing together product innovation, community, and sustainability in a space unlike any other.

• Rock Wall inspired by the Blue Mountains
• First Nations art installation created in collaboration with Miranda Hampson and two Elders, Uncle Ray Davison (Gadi Elder) and Aunty Barb Simms (Bidjigal and Gweagal Elder), reflecting thousands of years of Gadigal knowledge, sustainability, and connection to Country

Designed as a destination rather than a traditional retail store, the space presents the most extensive Arc’teryx range in the country alongside Australia’s largest Veilance retail environment, seamlessly weaving together technical performance, craftsmanship and mountain culture within the historic QVB setting.

To celebrate the opening, Arc’teryx will host a series of opening weekend experiences and community moments centred around some of the brand’s most iconic and sought-after products.

Arc’teryx Most Loved Gear, Shared With The Community

In a first for the brand in Australia, Arc’teryx will share with its community more than $50,000 worth of its most sought-after gear across opening weekend.From Friday 22 May to Sunday 24 May, every in-store purchase will provide the chance to win from more than 800 Arc’teryx products across the weekend.

Prize highlights include:

• the Alpha SV Jacket, the brand’s pinnacle alpine shell and one of the most recognised technical jackets in the world,
• the iconic Beta Jacket,
• Veilance apparel,
• premium footwear, packs and accessories,
• and exclusive Arc’teryx pieces not available for public purchase.

Toque Exchange

On Friday 22 May, Arc’teryx will invite guests to bring in a pre-loved beanie and exchange it for one of the brand’s iconic Bird Head Toques, a product that has evolved from mountain essential into one of the most recognisable and culturally sought-after pieces within the Arc’teryx community globally.

Collected beanies will then be repurposed and redistributed through a local community initiative as part of Arc’teryx’s ongoing focus on product longevity and responsible design.
